The sublimity of our being emerges from a grateful heart of our Beloved Lord and Savior. The cover of this book has been the creation and design of my beloved son Axel Iván. Thank you son for your intention in choosing every detail to carefully frame the content of what it means to be"Mothers-in-law for the Glory of God".
Every detail on the cover reveals the content of this book.The canvasBlank represents our life. The brushit is the work of the Holy Spirit, who works in us to bring out colors and a unique design in Christ Jesus.
The shadow contains a glorious message:"Our Identity in Christ". This is captured in the revelation of the shadow of the canvas on the grass. It is not our shadow that we want to see revealed in this book, but rather that the canvas of our life projects the beauty of the Cross .
The terrain reflects the contrast of two illuminations.The terrain with dark contrastIt represents our life before having known the love of our Savior Jesus Christ. Our color was veiled and dark since the hue denoted the darkness in which we lived.The land that has lightit represents the evidence that our life has been transformed by the love of God. Our life shines because in Christ Jesus we have passed from death to life. Jesus sheds the light of His love on our canvas to develop a close relationship with Him. The final illumination leads us to contemplate ourselves in a mirror and visualize in ourselves the transforming beauty of the cross."But we all, with uncovered faces, beholding the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Lord, the Spirit.". (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Finally, I thank God for the precious heart of my son, because only a soul impacted by the glorious Gospel could so subtly capture the essence of being Mothers-in-law: Works of Art in the hands of our God. The cover design culminates, placing a tender personal brushstroke that fills my heart with joy. An image of the mountainous landscape captured from the balconies of my parents' home on my beloved Isla del Encanto. This cover is the summary of this book masterfully captured in images:"We are canvases waiting for Our Lord to capture His Precious Gospel in our lives."
